As we move into this New Year, we look forward with great anticipation to all that the Lord will accomplish through us.

The Christian Brotherhood is growing around the world.  We are in need of leaders within the Movement, especially here in America where people are so conditioned by traditional church thinking that only a few should lead and the majority follow.

Please read "Organization and Membership" in The Arena, No. 2.  Christ has called each one of us to be a laborer in His vineyard.  We are a holy priesthood of all believers.  We are not to bury our talents but to use them to further the kingdom of God.

Please consider stepping up to the work of apostolic labor and becoming the man or woman of action that God created you to be.

The Christian Brotherhood continues to receive inquiries and requests for membership on the international level.  We would like to welcome new members in Kenya, the Philippines and South Africa.  May the movement of true Christian brotherhood continue to grow and draw many back to the original Faith taught by Christ and the Apostles and practiced by the early Church!

Christian Brotherhood

For the Mission of True Christian Brotherhood

The Christian Brotherhood is a movement of men and women following Jesus Christ and living the way of true Christian brotherhood.  We model ourselves after the early church of Christ’s first disciples and the Way of the Apostles described in the Book of Acts.  Our aim is to return to the simple roots and teachings of Jesus Christ, and build the Church as a true brotherhood of Christians, reaching out to one person at a time, and as one friend to another.

We want to live out the unspoken wish of many to return to that simple first-century Christian brotherhood of the early church.

"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls" (Jeremiah 6:16).

We believe that the Church should not consist of big ecclesiastical conglomerates built on money and power but should be a real brotherhood of Christ's followers that refuses to sell out to the world for money, worldly acclaim, or mere numbers to fill empty seats.

We see a lack of real brotherhood among Christ's followers today and the Christian Brotherhood seeks to fulfill that need.  Meeting from house to house, breaking bread together, healing and praying for one another, and taking the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets. Helping each other like true brothers and sisters in Christ.

"Two are better than one ... For if they fall, the one will lift up the other: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

True Christian brotherhood is built upon love for our brothers and sisters of like precious faith and finding common ground by returning to the simple teachings of Jesus Christ, always building up the Church and never tearing it down. This is not a worldly ecumenism where the Truth of Christ is bartered or compromised; Christian Brotherhood is a unity of spirit and truth in Christ.

In the Christian Brotherhood, there are no leaders or followers, only servants of God and each other (Mark 9:35).  Each one of us is called to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.  All of us have a mission and an equal share and ministry in the Christian Brotherhood and the apostolic work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our aim is to approach as near as possible the life of the Apostles and of the early church, so that in the whole brotherhood there is one heart and one soul.

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul” (Acts 4:32).

Christian Brotherhood members come from all walks of life and different denominations. The Christian Brotherhood offers a haven for those who cannot find a church and for those who wish to be a holy leaven and build real Christian brotherhood in their local church.  The Christian Brotherhood has members all across America and around the world.
